Potomac Wildlife Art Show & Auction Friday, June 20, 2008
Join the Community Foundation of Charles County for a summer evening with the Potomac River region's most sought-after artists for the 2nd Annual Potomac Wildlife Art Show and Auction, Friday, June 20, 6:30-10:30pm at the Waldorf Jaycees Community Center.
Greet and meet the wood carvers, specializing in duck decoys; flat artists, jewelers, and clay workers all whose focus is on the great outdoors.
Each artist is donating 25% of their sales to the Community Foundation of Charles County and its Grant Fund.
In addition, guests will be treated with culinary delights from the wild, get to meet first hand a bald eagle and other wild birds and bid on sports packages and other fabulous auction items. Sip on your favorite drink, enjoy live jazz music in the background and wander the room . . . a great way to unwind after work.
